"The Fool's New Crown" is Eric's eighth solo EP.

"That Rock & Roll" opens up the EP and is followed by "Susvarata" which means melody in Hindi.

The title track is next and is the heaviest on the EP.

"Sweet Baby" was written by Eric back in the very early '90s and is included here as an instrumental.

The EP closes with "Loop De Loop".

Eric has been playing guitar ever since being inspired by Ace Frehley when he was a kid. His guitar heroes include - but aren't limited to - Ace Frehley, Alex Lifeson, Gary Richrath, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Steve Morse, Pete Thorn, and Tim Pierce, and while influenced by these great guitarists, Eric isn't the typical "shredding guitarist" - he instead has a more melody-driven rock guitar style.
